Super Parquet present a piece of collected voices from the past mixed with electronic machines and traditional instruments improvisations (synthesiser, BaB - boîte à bourdons, prepared bagpipes, banjo and tones of effects).
This memory piece ("pièce mémoire") is not for a bal.
It's more a research sound art object that was created especially during their residency at Upcp Métive in Parthenay, France.
They worked on the local oral history archives (fond de collectage) of Cerdo (Centre d’Études, de Recherche et de Documentation sur l’Oralité - Studies Centre for Research and Documentation on Orality).
They kept the sides, appearance, disappearance, hesitations, emptyness.
They found Louise Cohadier singing. She said she didn't remember but she did.
